Choose from one of these topics: Christopher Columbus, Bats, Fire Prevention, Pumpkins, Breast Cancer Awareness, Red Ribbon Week-Oct. 23rd-Oct. 27th or Halloween.
* Pick one of the October topics given to you to research.
*Paragraph #1: describe what you are writing about and why. Tell why this topic is important to you.
*Paragraph #2: give details about the history of your topic and details about how it came to be.
*Paragraph #3: restate the importance of your topic and why it is honored during the month of October in the United States.
*Back Page: list the resources you used to get the facts to write your paper. (Website, books, articles, etc)
*Front Cover: decorate a colorful picture (you can print one from your computer at home) and make sure you write the Topic, your name and your class on the cover. Creativity on this cover is a part of your grade.
