Student Visionaries are the bright, determined leaders of tomorrow. They look at the world and see limitless potential. They dare to challenge the ordinary and transform the impossible into reality. They dream of a better world—and with unyielding passion, they step forward to make that world a reality.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) was founded on this same vision—a world without blood cancers. And with the help of young visionaries like the students at Saint Thomas the Apostle, our impact grows stronger every day. Together, we are one step closer to making this dream come true.
Student Visionaries of the Year is a truly special program that empowers high school students to become leaders in the fight against blood cancers. For seven weeks, young leaders like Brianna Romero and Grace Pucci from Saint Thomas Aquinas High School join forces with us to raise funds and awareness for LLS. Our team, TEAM FOR A CURE, is on a mission to bring hope to families affected by blood cancers and fund the groundbreaking research that will help make Gen Z the last generation to know this pain.
We need your help.
LLS is saving lives today—no longer just in the distant future, but right now. With your support, we can accelerate this life-saving work and bring us even closer to a cure. Together, with researchers, doctors, pharmaceutical companies, and advocates, we are moving toward a future where cancer is no longer a threat.
Please consider joining us in this crucial fight. On Wednesday, February 19th Saint Thomas the Apostle School will host a special dress-down day to raise funds for TEAM FOR A CURE. We are asking for a $5 donation from any student who would like to participate. However, we understand that every family is in a different situation, so please give whatever you can—every contribution is deeply appreciated and brings us closer to our goal.
Blood Cancer research uses the color orange so students are encouraged to wear orange to symbolize our fight.
Thank you for your generosity and support. Together, we can make a difference, and together, we can make a world without blood cancers a reality.
With heartfelt thanks,
TEAM FOR A CURE
